Keep Score is a scorekeeping utility for tabletop and card games that stores games, player names, and scoring history on your device.
Card game instructions are fetched from a curated Firestore collection to help you learn and set up games. Offline cache is kept in UserDefaults for quicker access.
Tools such as coin flips, dice rolls, and timers run locally on your device; they are designed for convenience, not for gambling or safety-critical use.
By installing or using Keep Score you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, uninstall the app and stop using it.
You represent that you are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your region) and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you use the app on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the app for lawful, non-commercial gameplay support.
You may not reverse engineer, copy, resell, create derivative works from, or exploit the app or its content except as expressly allowed by law.
Do not use the app for any unlawful, harmful, or high-risk purpose (including wagering, medical decisions, life safety, or other critical systems).
You control the player names, game titles, and score data you enter. That information is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to us unless you deliberately share it through another app or service.
If you submit or suggest card game content, you affirm you have rights to it and grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, host, modify, and display that content within the app and related services.
You must not input content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, abusive, or otherwise objectionable. You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to include the names or information of others.
Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using the app you also agree to that policy.
Local data (saved games, history, preferences, and cached card game content) is stored on your device in UserDefaults. Deleting the app or clearing the app's data removes that local information.
Card game instructions are delivered through Firebase Firestore. Basic network metadata (such as IP address and device type) may be processed by Google to provide that service.
The app uses Firebase Firestore to deliver and update game instructions, Apple frameworks for haptics, audio, and storage, and system-provided sharing interfaces.
Your use of these services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. You consent to our use of these services to operate the app.
Randomized results for coin flips and dice rolls are generated locally. We do not guarantee statistical randomness or suitability for regulated or wagering use.
Timers and score calculations are provided for convenience only. Always verify critical timing or scoring independently.
The app and all content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any card game descriptions are complete, current, or free of mistakes.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising from your use of the app.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for the app in the 12 months before the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your misuse of the app, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
You may stop using the app at any time. Deleting the app removes local data stored on your device.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the app, and may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these Terms or if required by law.
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the app, legal requirements, or business practices. We will post the updated date at the top of this page.
Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree, discontinue use and remove the app.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your place of residence, unless local consumer laws require otherwise.
Any disputes should first be raised with us informally. If not resolved, disputes will be handled in accordance with applicable local law and venue.
